Thai & An Nguyen are pleased to announce the forthcoming opening of their new family-run Oriental food store and takeaway. Located just off Islington's famous Chapel Market, Thai-An will specialise in Chinese and Vietnamese delicacies ready-prepared for you to take home and cook, as well as offering ready-to-eat versions of the same dishes for those in a hurry. All uncooked dishes are prepared daily and hygienically sealed, and are accompanied by cooking guidelines and recipe suggestions. Thai and An will be pleased to offer advice and guidance to customers who have little or no previous experience of preparing oriental food.
Most of the dishes are prepared in such a way that they can be cooked at home using everyday utensils in about ten minutes, and customers will be able to buy oriental condiments (soya sauce, chilli oil, etc) in both individual portions and larger bottles to accompany their meals.
In addition to the ready-prepared and ready-cooked dishes, Thai-An will sell a wide range of Oriental foodstuffs including fresh vegetables and herbs, Chinese mushrooms, Oriental pickles, fresh and dried noodles, frozen fish and shellfish, Chinese dumplings and buns, wun-tun, marinated pork, beef and chicken, barbecued duck, char-siu pork, etc.
Finally, Thai and An will be offering a unique steamboat-at-home service; they will supply and prepare all the ingredients and utensils you need to organise a steamboat dinner party at home, they will deliver them to your home shortly before your dinner party is due to start, they will stay (if asked) to show your guests how to use the steamboat utensils and ingredients, and finally they will return to collect the dirty utensils : no need even for you to wash up!
